Starting Websites on Local Watershed Issues

With Cabaret and Hosmer Point, the 5/6s have missed some time in STEM but are still on track to finish their websites on local watershed issues. Using Google Sites, they practiced the tools necessary on that platform to make a website by making a multi-page website about themselves. The 5/6s enjoyed learning how to make a website on Google Sites, trying out different features, inserting images and changing fonts, and finally sharing their informational websites with each other. Then, they started researching a particular issue related to the Lake Champlain Basin, our local watershed. Some of the issues chosen include pollution sources, aquatic organisms, and the geography of the basin. Stay tuned for their final educational websites!
